## 1. Unboxing & Hardware Verification
Your hand-assembled SolAxe GT-801 prototype includes:
- Assembled GT-801 ASIC miner in precision-machined 150 × 110 × 70 mm PVC junction box.
- Internal MPPT tracking controller and 5V step-down buck voltage regulator.
- Integrated red 3-digit digital LED voltmeter.
- External heavy-duty XT30 power harness and liquid-tight PG-13.5 brass cable gland.
- Factory burn-in certificate verifying 24 hours of outdoor solar operation at ~1.2 TH/s.

## 2. Solar Array & Battery Hookup
1. **Photovoltaic Panel Selection:** Use an 18V nominal monocrystalline solar panel (50W–100W). Open-circuit voltage (Voc) must not exceed 28V DC.
2. **Battery Buffer:** Connect a 12V 15Ah LiFePO4 battery (or 12V 18Ah AGM battery) in parallel with the solar panel controller.
3. **Power Connection:** Connect the solar DC output to the SolAxe XT30 quick-disconnect lead.
4. **Voltmeter Check:** Confirm the internal red LED voltmeter illuminates and reads **5.20V DC unloaded**. Under full ASIC mining load, the bus voltage will settle at **5.00V–5.02V DC**.

## 3. Web Console & Pool Configuration
1. Connect your phone or laptop to the temporary Wi-Fi access point: `SolAxe-GT801-Setup`.
2. Open browser to `http://192.168.4.1` and connect the SolAxe to your local 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
3. In the AviaryOS Mining Settings, configure your Stratum pool:
   - **Primary Pool:** `stratum+tcp://stratum.ocean.xyz:3334`
   - **Worker:** `<your-bitcoin-address>.solaxe01`
   - **Fallback Pool:** `stratum+tcp://public-pool.io:21496`
4. **Alby Hub Lightning Payout:** Paste your NWC (Nostr Wallet Connect) pairing string from your Alby Hub node to enable zero-fee automated Lightning reward payouts.

## 4. Outdoor Mounting
- Mount the enclosure on the shaded underside of your solar panel frame using zip-ties or unistrut brackets. Shading lowers internal enclosure temperatures by 10°C–15°C.
- Ensure the convective ventilation orifices face downward at an angle to prevent wind-driven rainwater pooling.
